After being turned down previously, Pfizer Inc.is again making a proposal to acquire drug maker AstraZeneca PLC this time for a reported $100 billion.

As announced in February, the new candidate is replacing Gary Fayard who is retiring after 20 years with the company.

The $2.45 billion acquisition is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2014, subject to customary closing conditions.

The new CFO replaces Larry Hilsheimer, who has left the company effective immediately and is pursuing other opportunities.

Shareholders overwhelmingly voted to approve the agreement pursuant to which affiliates of Sycamore Partners will acquire The Jones Group for a total transaction value of approximately $2.2 billion.

Marking this occasion, Booz & Company has changed its name to Strategy& (pronounced Strategy and), which will be used alongside the PwC name and brand.

The candidate will be responsible for sales, operations, human resources and marketing.
