CGT Parent Company EnsembleIQ Introduces New Groups to Elevate Brands

CGT’s parent company EnsembleIQ has introduced two new groups — U.S. Grocery and Convenience and Retail Technology — that are combining the strengths of several of its brands to help power business growth across several industries. 

The two new groups include U.S. Grocery and Convenience Group: Progressive Grocer, Convenience Store News, and Store Brands, and Retail Technology Group: Retail Info Systems, Consumer Goods Technology, and Retail Leader.

Both groups include valuable networking and learning assets such as websites, email newsletters, marketing services, and educational events. U.S. Grocery and Convenience also include print offerings. Among these are:

    The two groups have launched a collaborative new 2023 event. GroceryTech will bring together business and tech grocery executives on the journey to modernize infrastructure for innovation. The company promoted several senior strategy and audience development leaders to lead the initiative. EnsembleIQ’s new U.S. Grocery and Convenience Group will be managed by SVP and group publisher Paula Lashinsky. The new Retail Technology Group will be overseen by VP and group publisher Albert Guffanti.

In support of EnsembleIQ’s growth strategy, the company has also promoted Joe Territo to chief strategy officer, tasked with developing and activating integrated content, communications, and marketing strategies using editorial insights to engage decision makers across several industries.  

Julie Ball is now VP, audience development, reporting to chief operating officer Derek Estey. Ball will lead the audience development, touching on operations and analytics..
