Consumer Need Drives New Products for Kellogg
Kellogg Company's ongoing commitment to understanding consumer needs is driving the latest round of new products to delight consumers and position the company for continued success.
The current group of new products builds on the momentum established by other recent successful innovations from Kellogg. Special K Fruit Crisps and Keebler Town House Flipside crackers were named Breakthrough Innovation Leader Silver award winners by Nielson and Special K Cracker Chips ranked number seven on Symphony IRI's 2011 Top Pacesetters list.
"Every new product from Kellogg is developed based on keen insights into the lifestyles, taste preferences and nutrition needs of our consumers," says Brad Davidson, president of Kellogg North America. "By leveraging these emerging trends, we continue to introduce hot new products that excite both our consumers and our retail partners."
These insights are then brought to life from the across cereal and snack aisles to the freezer section, by some of the world's strongest brands, such as Special K, Keebler and Eggo.
Other highlights include Special K snacks, which continue rapid growth as new Special K Pop Corn Chips, Pastry Crisps help women stay on track all day long. Kellogg celebrates the Olympics and Amazing Spider-man with limited-edition foods, including cereal, Pop-Tarts and snacks. Cinnamon continues to soar as Keebler debuts cinnamon roll cookies and Pringles launches seasonal cinnamon crisps. Pumpkin rules as Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts return for fall and are joined by Pumpkin Spice offerings from Eggo and Pringles. Great in any language, Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Chocolate/Choco Zucaritas debut in bilingual packaging.
