Coors Light Kicks Off Football Season With New Team Deals and Fan Program

There are roughly 75 million avid football fans in the United States, many of whom show their loyalty to the game by devotedly following their hometown teams. Recognizing the loyalty of NFL fans, Coors Light, the official beer sponsor of the NFL, is adding four new teams to its sponsorship roster. Coors Brewing Company has formed new partnerships with the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans and broadened relationships with the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers, beginning with the 2007-2008 season. Each new relationship provides Coors with multiple marketing opportunities, including the right to use the team name and logo in advertising, promotional activities and packaging as well as media placements during radio broadcasts of games. Coors Light is also extending its deals with the New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders, and is a sponsor of the Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers. "By signing deals with several new teams and extending our presence with existing partners, we are widening the reach of our brand and the impact of our status as the Official Beer Sponsor of the NFL and the NFL fan," says Bryce McTavish, vice president of channel and sponsorship marketing, Coors Brewing Company. In addition, Coors Brewing Company is bringing back its popular Silver Ticket program, giving NFL fans the chance to win regular season tickets and other NFL-related prizes. Through October 31, 2007, NFL fans can win NFL tickets, NFL experiences and thousands of other NFL prizes by getting their Silver Ticket Entry in packages of Coors Light and Coors and entering the official entry code online at www.coorslight.com.
