Dollar General has entered the analytics conversation set to take place during our esteemed Analytics Unite event from May 1-3 in Chicago.
Paul Bucalo, senior director of digital marketing engineering, will be sitting on the “Optimizing Infrastructure for Analytics” panel, touching on how CPGs and retailers can both gather and unify analytics to turn them into actionable decisions implemented across the company. Bucalo will be discussing the topic with Bhaumik Sharma, CDTO of North America at Haleon.

Bucalo joined Dollar General in 2022 with 20 years of experience driving technology strategy, digital analytics, and customer acquisition technology. He leads a team devoted to business-led, technology transformation to drive growth and innovation. This includes driving new capabilities across owned and paid channels, ad tech, identity resolution and measurement.
Prior to Dollar General, Bucalo served as director of group product management for Walmart marketing technology, where his team launched an organizational shift to agile marketing and launched a new, dynamic personalized marketing experience. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant, in startups and for the media industry.
