Dubak Electrical Group, a provider of industrial electrical construction and maintenance, has launched DuThermX, a fully integrated body temperature measurement system for industrial and commercial applications in the United States.
Using thermal camera technology, the contact-free, high-capacity system is engineered to detect elevated body temperatures as large numbers of people enter factories, healthcare facilities, buildings and event venues. It detects body temperatures within +/- 0.54 degrees F for 16 to 40 people simultaneously, depending on the configuration of a facility’s entry point. It’s said to have a response time of 30 milliseconds.

When a person passes through an entry point with an elevated temperature, an alarm alerts designated personnel. The multi notification alarm system includes audible, visual, email, SMS text, onscreen and network video capture.
Designed to be unobtrusive, the system can be integrated with existing security systems or installed separately.
The company began working on the solution in January as the dangers of COVID-19 came into view. System add-ons can also add such technologies as facial recognition.
