In an effort to bridge the gap between the in-store and online shopping experience, fine jewelry brand Gabriel & Co. has launched a virtual "toolbox" designed to equip retail partners with ways to improve the shopping experience.
"As technology reshapes the way we do business, the personal touch is becoming more important than ever," says Jack Gabriel, the company's chief executive officer. "Fortunately, it's easier to provide – if you have the right tools."
The brand's toolbox includes:
Gabriel Magic App:allows shoppers to virtually take part in the design process through augmented reality by creating customized versions of pieces in the Gabriel collection. Customers can then view realistic 3D images with 360-degree views of the finished product and view the final version on their hand. The images can be saved for sharing with friends and family over social media prior to visiting a store to finalize the order.
Gabriel Personal Shopper:a visual search tool helps shoppers find the ideal product in the store using deep learning and image recognition. Gabriel will drop-ship purchases to the consumer and apply full payout directly to the retailer.
Gabriel eShopNShop: lets store employees access to the brand's full catalog of jewelry styles through a virtual showcase, letting jewelers offer a wider variety of options without having to invest in stocking them.
