Gerber Scientific Acquires Yunique Solutions

Gerber Scientific Inc. announces the acquisition of Yunique Solutions Inc., a privately-held developer of product lifecycle management (PLM) software solutions for the fashion industry. This strategic transaction combines Gerber's position as a CAD/CAM and PLM solutions and support provider with Yunique's PLM software platform. Gerber expects the acquisition to be accretive to earnings beginning with the company's fiscal fourth quarter 2010. Terms were not disclosed.
