Kraft Foods Inc. to Become Mondelez International, Inc.

Kraft Foods Inc. expects to complete its spin-off of Kraft Foods Group, Inc., which will hold the North American grocery business, at the close of business on Oct. 1, 2012. Kraft Foods Inc. will be renamed Mondelez International, Inc. on October 2, 2012.

 

On the stock market, Kraft Foods Group and Mondelez International Inc. are expected to begin "regular-way" trading on The NASDAQ Global Select Market on Oct. 2, 2012, under the ticker symbols "KRFT” and "MDLZ," respectively. The current ticker symbol, "KFT," will be retired.
