Nestle, Sparkling Ice Bring Summertime Rebates to Publix

Publix teamed with Nestle to run a “Have Happy on Hand” summer rebate program incentivizing frozen treat purchases.

The program is intended to “make summer sweeter” and drive ice cream purchases from more than 200 participating frozen treats from Nestle's Haagen-Dazs, Outshine, Edy’s, Skinny Cow, Nestle Drumstick and Nestle.

Shoppers who accrue $20 in participating SKUs (in one or multiple transactions) from May 20 to July 31 can earn a $5 prepaid Publix gift card (up to $15). Participants redeem the offer by snapping a picture of their receipts and submitting them via rewards.havehappyonhand.com, text or email.

Clings on freezers stocking participating frozen treats tout the program in stores, while display ads on blog sites like iheartpublix.com support online, directing users to the promotional entry site.

Another, similar gift card rebate program is also ending on July 31 at Publix, this one from Talking Rain’s Sparkling Ice. The beverage brand is running a digital "Sip on Summer Savings” program at the grocer for the entire month of July.

From July 1-31, Publix shoppers who purchase 12 17-ounce bottles or a 12-pack of Sparkling Ice can follow similar redemption steps to claim a $5 Publix gift card (delivered via mail) with this rebate offer housed on siptosavings.com.

Both programs tapped global loyalty and promotions company Snipp Interactive to establish the digital rebate programs on their flagship product: Snipp RebateCenter, a SaaS platform that enables brands to set up and manage a branded digital rebate experience. This was Sparkling Ice's fourth program executed via Snipp’s at Publix.
