Newell Rubbermaid Selects Marketing Agency for Key Brands

Newell Rubbermaid selects marketing agency, Engauge, for its Preferred Agency Roster, and engagements with three of the company’s key brands — Levolor, Rubbermaid and Calphalon.
 
“Our customer base is a digitally savvy group — we must always keep our focus on evolving the online experience with our brand,” says Kamie McHenry-Eckert of Calphalon. “Engauge has a strong understanding of the digital landscape and the resulting consumer behaviors. They have been instrumental in accelerating and evolving our brand in the digital space.”
 
For Levolor, Engauge will provide 2013 strategy, planning and execution across all channels. For Rubbermaid, the agency will focus on building membership, community and loyalty, as well as launching products. Lastly, for Calphalon, the agency will provide strategy, planning and execution for direct and digital campaigns.
 
Engauge’s first body of work for Newell Rubbermaid, a Calphalon web site, launched over the 2012 holidays, within three months of the engagement’s start. Calphalon’s “Your Set” is the industry’s first customizable cookware set buying experience. Engauge partnered with Calphalon to create an e-commerce enabled web site experience. The site was designed to help people explore cooking styles and select pieces that suit their interests and cooking styles — using video, menu selections and music. The web site’s social tools also allow users to post their creations on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.
