PERT Plus Fans Elect MiLB Stars
The PERT Plus announced the 2011 PERT Plus Minor League Baseball (MiLB)Stars voting season. Now through September 1st, fans will have a chance to vote online for the Triple-A position players and pitchers whom they believe have the brightest futures, with winners announced on MiLB.com on September 2nd. 
“As a brand made for today’s young, active guy, we’re excited to support affordable, family-friendly entertainment like MiLB,” says Rick Cutler, director of marketing for PERT Plus. “The 2011 PERT Plus MiLB Stars is our way to shine light on some of the nation’s most promising athletes, while creating an exciting way for fans to participate in a fun sport.”
MiLB.com writers and staff have selected 30 position players and 25 pitchers as the Triple-A players most likely to have the biggest impact in the Majors. Fans then select five of each as their choices for PERT Plus MiLB Stars. The five position players and five pitchers with the most fan votes become the PERT Plus MiLB Stars for 2011.
