ScottsMiracle-Gro Names Senior Vice President, Marketing

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company announces that Jan Valentic has joined the company as senior vice president, Marketing. In this newly created role, Valentic will be responsible for leading the company's new media, consumer insights, consumer services and interactive marketing functions. She will also work to ensure that marketing is aligned with all key areas of the organization. Prior to joining ScottsMiracle-Gro, Valentic most recently served as executive vice president with Young & Rubicam Brands, leading the Team Microsoft relationship. Her professional background also includes senior level positions with Ford Motor Company, and work at the Leo Burnett agency, helping clients such as Hallmark, McDonald's and Pillsbury strengthen their brands.
