Siemens Unveils Enhancements for PLM Software
Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division and global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, announces that the latest release of its Teamcenter software, the company's flagship digital lifecycle management portfolio, includes new functionality designed to increase productivity in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and food and beverage (F&B) industry.
The Teamcenter 8 release is meant to focus on individual, application and IT productivity, with a variety of enhancements throughout the entire portfolio. CPG and F&B companies are expected to realize higher efficiencies in four key areas of the idea-to-shelf innovation process including packaging and artwork, global specifications, brand management, and initiative management.
