Hormel HQ Opening Healthcare Facility
Hormel Foods headquarters employees will soon have access to an on-site healthcare facility.
The 4,500-square-foot health center, operated by Premise Health, will open to Hormel Foods associates and their dependent family members on June 30, serving around 4,700 members of the company’s health plans. The plans to open the center have been in the works since last summer, Janet Hogan, senior VP, human resources, told CGT.
Staffed by a physician, nurse practitioner, condition management registered nurse, physical therapist, two medical assistants and a medical receptionist, the center will offer primary care services, physical therapy, condition management, lab services and select prepackaged pharmacy services. It does not offer COVID-19 testing at this time.

The facility builds on Hormel’s existing relationship with the Mayo Clinic, which in turn introduced the consumer goods company to Premise Health.
While there aren’t plans in place at this time to open additional clinics, Hormel intends to explore options if this proves to be successful.
Premise Health provides on-site, near-site and virtual healthcare for organizations in 44 states, operating more than 600 centers for such companies as Dot Foods and Mountaire.
Hormel Foods is No. 59 on the CGT Top 100 Consumer Goods Companies of 2019 list.
