P&G Repeats Successful Marketing Campaign

9/18/2012
Following two successful years, the Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) PG) is once again highlighting the benefits of many of its innovative brands via the “Have You Tried This Yet?” program, a comprehensive campaign designed to highlight innovative products for self, family and home.

“Our priority is to consistently deliver programs and products that can help improve consumer’s everyday. After two successful years, “Have You Tried This Yet?” from P&G has provided shoppers with innovative, high-performing brands, across multiple product categories. As we embark on year three, we look forward to offering unique and innovative opportunities for shoppers to engage with our program, further demonstrating how “Have You Tried This Yet?” will continue to remain a trusted resource in their daily lives,” says Karen Klei Schlosser, associate marketing director, NA Brand Operations.

This year, “Have You Tried This Yet?” has partnered with actress and television correspondent, Vanessa Lachey to act as program spokesperson to help highlight the everyday innovation behind the program’s participating brands including: Bounty, Always/Tampax and Febreze. The program is also excited to welcome back, Hispanic style expert Irma Martinez, who will join Vanessa to help demonstrate the everyday value, bright ideas and innovative P&G products the “Have You Tried This Yet?” program has to offer to transform life’s daily demands.

Together, Vanessa and Irma will be engaging with shoppers through various interactive channels to further bring to life the program’s everyday value, including a series of “Have You Tried This Yet?” brand demonstration videos. These videos will allow consumers to experience firsthand the innovation and quality that goes into some of the program’s participating products.

“Have You Tried This Yet?” is also providing consumers the opportunity to let their voice be heard with “The Great Try Out” contest. Fifteen up and coming tastemakers in the categories of beauty, family and home will compete for a spot in the first Trend Trio from “Have You Tried This Yet?”, earning the opportunity to be one of three program experts. Over the next 10 days, the public will have the chance to vote for their favorite beauty, family & home experts, based on written and video submissions from the candidates. The women who receive the most votes in each category will become a member of the Trend Trio, earning the opportunity to blog on behalf of the campaign and share tips and advice with other women like themselves.
