Andy Mecs has been named executive VP, commercial, of Chicken of the Sea International (COSI).
Most recently VP of marketing and innovation at StarKist (and serving as the chief marketing officer), Mecs will oversee the sales, marketing and supply chain functions at COSI, which is the consumer-facing brand of Thai Union North America (TUNA).
He spent a decade with StarKist, beginning as a regional sales manager and rising through the ranks. Prior to StarKist, he held business development and marketing roles at Del Monte Foods, which owned the StarKist brand before selling it to Dongwon Industries.
