Instinct Pet Food, which manufactures raw and natural pet nutrition products, is optimizing its sales and operations planning capabilities to introduce new efficiencies and create more reliable processes. 

The company has partnered with Demand Chain AI, leaning on its supply chain and demand planning platform to align demand planning, production, and inventory management. Through the implementation, the company looks to achieve a more agile and efficient supply chain.

Beau Mainous, CEO of Instinct Pet Food, said in a statement that the collaboration is part of proactive steps to enhance the company’s supply chain processes to better serve customers and support long-term growth.

Instinct Pet Food was founded 20 years ago and includes a portfolio of frozen and freeze-dried raw meals, kibble, toppers, and wet food. The collaboration also helps move Instinct closer to its sustainability goals of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
