Consumer goods company Just Born, owner of brands like Peeps, Mike and Ike, Hot Tamales, and Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews, has a new chief growth officer. The company has tapped Meenakshi Trehan for the role.
According to Trehan’s LinkedIn, she brings more than 20 years of experience across the CPG space, having focused on business transformations, change management, new product launches, digital innovation, and data analytics and insights for several iconic brands.
Trehan joins Just Born after serving as Organic’s Valley VP of branded business, where she built the company’s first cohesive, data-driven marketing strategy that helped boost annual revenues from +13% and returned the business to profitability, she said.
Prior to Organic Valley, Trehan led brand strategy at the Campbell Soup Company, spending more than 10 years with the brand, driving strategy for the $2.7B portfolio of soups, sauces, and meals and reversing four years of sales contraction.
“I have a demonstrated track record of revitalizing and transforming organizations, driving brand strategy and awareness, achieving market leadership, and delivering top-line growth and profitability,” said Trehan on LinkedIn. “I am passionate about building and nurturing high performing teams.”
Just Born is a family-owned candy manufacturer that opened in 1923 in New York, and is now Pennsylvania-based.
