Ocean Spray is bolstering its tech team.
The company’s chief information and digital officer Neil Hampshire recently announced in a LinkedIn post that Janet Scott would be taking on the role of VP of transformation at the organization.
Scott is an experienced IT professional, having held tech-focused roles with companies like Insulet Corporation, ModusLink, and Smith and Nephew over the last two decades.
The news comes a few months after the company announced its chief digital and technology officer Jamie Head would be departing after holding the role from 2019 to 2023.
During his time at Ocean Spray, Head was responsible for the modernization of end-to-end business services and the migration to future state architecture and applications on cloud environments.
Ocean Spray hired previous Subway executive Neil Hampshire to replace Head and lead the company’s digital and IT efforts as its chief information and digital officer. Hampshire said the company has been presented with an “invigorating” opportunity to modernize technology and the business.
"We're going to catapult Ocean Spray into the next 100 years, always doing right by our cooperative and grower-owners," said Hampshire in a previous statement.
