Andre Branch Named SVP, General Manager of MAC Cosmetics

André Branch has been named senior VP, general manager of MAC Cosmetics at The Estee Lauder Companies.

Previously senior VP, strategic initiatives at The Estee Lauder Companies, which is the No. 44 consumer goods company, Branch will accelerate and drive MAC’s North America go-to-market strategy. This includes leading the brand’s omnichannel and direct-to-consumer initiatives, optimizing its freestanding store growth, and growing its department store and specialty-multi business.

He will continue to be a member of the North America leadership team and will join the MAC global leadership team.

Branch joined the company just seven months ago, and was praised in a company statement for his work in expanding strategic partnerships and identifying opportunities to broaden consumer reach at retail.

He also plays a strategic role in advancing The Estee Lauder Companies’ racial equity commitments in North America, including serving as a member of its North America Region Inclusion and Diversity Taskforce.

Branch has deep e-commerce and digital experience. Prior to joining Estee Lauder, he served as senior VP, e-commerce and digital operations at L’Oréal USA, and he’s also held roles at Kraft Foods, Diageo and The Nature’s Bounty Company 

“André is a visionary brand-builder whose diverse global and U.S, experience, deep knowledge of online and brick-and-mortar, and expertise in consumer engagement ideally position him to accelerate MAC’s strategic priorities and optimize its growth in North America,” said Chris Good, group president, North America.

In addition to MAC, The Estee Lauder Companies counts such brands as Aramis, Clinique, Prescriptives, Lab Series, Origins and Tommy Hilfiger under its umbrella.
